Lysario – by Panagiotis Chatzichrisafis

About Lysario

Lysario’s main purpose is to provide solutions to engineering problems. The word Lysario itself is greek and can be translated as “solution handbook”. Most problems are taken from various textbooks that do not provide the corresponding solutions to the posed questions, but other topics of personal interest are also covered in this blog. The solutions should serve as references to check ones own solutions and also to provide guidance during the problem solving process. The exercises were solved in my spare time and while all solutions to the exercises were carefully re-viewed, the reader should check the reasoning and the results and convince himself/herself about the validity of the arguments (disclaimer). As it is the case with every result and document: used sources from other persons are cited accordingly in the hope that the readers of this document will also honor this principle of scientific practice. The slogan of the site “ούτω γάρ ειδέναι το σύνθετον υπολαμβάνομεν, όταν ειδώμεν εκ τίνων και πόσων εστίν …” is a quote from Aristotele’s Book ΦΥΣΙΚΑ Α’ which can be translated as:  “we think to know the complex when we have seen from what and how many parts it is composed of …”.
